Cerebus (Cerebus the Aardvark) è una serie a fumetti fantasy realizzata dal canadese Dave Sim e pubblicata in proprio dall'autore dal 1977 al 2004 per 300 albi per un totale di 6.000 pagine, cosa questo che lo rese un precursore dell'autoproduzione. Risulta essere la più lunga serie in lingua inglese a fumetti mai realizzata da un singolo artista. Parla di un Aardvark antropomorfo che inizia nei regni di Might and Magic. È molto simile a Conan il Barbaro e utilizza personaggi parodia simili della mitologia di Conan al suo interno. Cerebus indossa anche un elmo, una collana e ha uno scudo che ricorda quello di Conan. Ci sono anche persone reali come Alan Moore, Chris Claremont e persino personaggi parodia di Marvel, DC e Image Comics all'interno della serie. In particolare il "Roach" e i suoi pseudonimi.
